“We have loved John Haywood’s work for a long time and have avidly followed him on Instagram. We are absolutely thrilled to now have one of his beautiful watercolours.

I often look at his paintings and am amazed at the depth of detail and atmosphere John creates. Thank you John and we look forward to seeing your future works. All the best!”

“I share a beach hut with Hilary and she sent me the image of John’s painting ‘Beach life – Rottingdean’ that she had found on the Zerbs site. Straightaway I wanted to know if there were any prints. To my surprise John offered to paint a second watercolour of the same scene and brought it round to me within a week! The painting is from a slightly different perspective and I am thrilled with it.

John has captured perfectly the balance between the sturdy chalk cliff, the distinct line of concrete huts and the warmth of human colour, sky and the sea, which makes the place so special.”
