Hi Carole and thanks so much for thi! I’m so sorry to hear about your wrist – I’ve experienced the same and know how surprisingly debilitating it can be (and this was before I started painting!). I’ll be squeezing one more post in before Christmas, but in case you miss in amongst everything else that will be going on, I hope you have a wonderful festive season and that your wrist doesn’t cause you too much discomfort (a perfect excuse to insist that you’re waited on hand and foot!)

You’ve captured the Hove atmosphere, sea light, parked vans and cars with their rounded roofs contrasting with the lines and squares geometric qualities of the scaffolding.
